Timeless Victorian Charm Awaits

Discover the timeless charm of the Wawona Hotel, a Victorian-era gem near Yosemite's Mariposa Grove. Beginning December 2, 2024, the historic Wawona Hotel in Yosemite National Park will close for a comprehensive condition assessment. The closure follows a recent roof replacement project that uncovered the need for further investigation. All impacted guests have been notified and refunded. Please check back for updates on the reopening date.

The historic Wawona Hotel is currently closed for a comprehensive condition assessment conducted by the National Park Service. At this time, there is no anticipated reopening date. These rooms are elegantly decorated in the Victorian style and share a bathhouse located nearby. Bring your cozy robe, which will make for a warm, pleasant walk to the bathhouse. In keeping with the authentic Victorian décor, there are no TVs, telephones or internet available in the guest rooms.

    Public transportation bus service is available to and from the Wawona Hotel area via Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System: YARTS Schedule. No shuttle service is available at Wawona Hotel.
